Rebels & Red Coats; Tales of the Revolution
The BEST Boston tour for kids! One of the only truly family friendly tours in Boston! Designed specifically for school aged children, this is an educational (and hilarious) tour of select sites of the Revolutionary War and Boston history. No need to worry about your family being bored on this tour! You will leave with a greater understanding of the Revolution that started America, presented in a way that even young children will understand and enjoy. This walking tour features highlights of the Freedom Trail, but keeps the distance to under a mile so that our youngest guests can comfortably participate.
This tour features two guides, and children will leave with a gift to commemorate their Boston adventure.
Rebels and Red Coats will be most entertaining for children between the ages of 4-12, but children of all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are responsible for their own and their children's behavior and safety.
This tour covers about 1 mile of mildly uneven terrain (cobblestones, a few stairs.) It is stroller accessible but would be difficult for travelers in a wheelchair or who have mobility issues. Travelers with mobility issues are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to fill out the custom tour request form below, as we are HAPPY to create a tour to accommodate you.
Tours will run in light rain. We will cancel for unpleasant or unsafe weather conditions. Tours require at least three guests to operate.

Her Story - A Women's History Walking Tour of Boston
Women make up half of this country, and yet are largely ignored when it comes to history books. Our walking tour of historic Boston will tell you the fascinating stories of the incredible women who changed the course of Boston...and American history. From Puritan women who bravely stood up to the government, to the first female/Person of Color to be elected mayor of Boston, we will talk about the wild and wonderful women of Boston.
The Women's History tour will be most entertaining for children over the age of 13, but children of all ages are welcome even though this is not considered a family friendly tour. This tour contains discussions of slavery and violence, so parental discretion is advised.

Boston After Dark
Meet Boston, after dark. The real Boston. The Boston of terrifying serial killers, urban legends, bizarre industrial accidents, unsolved crimes, ghost stories, and other extraordinary tales. Led by a Boston local, take a walk through Boston like you've never seen it. This 2 hour spooky tour takes you through two of Boston's most storied neighborhoods; the North End and the West End. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. This is NOT a kid-friendly tour, but it is the best Boston tour for all the things that don't get discussed in polite company...
Children under 13 are not allowed, and parental discretion is advised for those 13 and up. This tour contains foul language and discussions of death and violence. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are responsible for their own and their children's behavior.
